I’m walking to make a difference.
As most will know we lost my Dad last July, Dad was thee definition of a warrior and suffered for many years with many things, one of which was COPD and relied heavily on oxygen in the last year of his life.
It is because of this that I want to undergo this challenge and raise money in the hope that others lives can be saved/made easier.
I was 6 months pregnant when Dad gained his wings and I want to do this so that my little girl in the future knows how significant her Pops was in all our lives!
On Saturday 18th October 25, I will be setting off from home at 5am, I will walk towards the seafront and should arrive there for around 5:30am from then I will be walking the shoreline from Jaywick to Walton throughout the day drawing my walk to an end at 5pm.
Friends & family are welcome to join me throughout the day for as long or as frequent as they would like.
We have kindly been gifted the rental of a beach hut that will pose as a meeting point as well as the finish line.
Believe me, this will never come close to the battles my dad faced in his life, but this is for him!

Just £24 could support a researcher at the start of their career to carry out an hour of lung health research to ensure we attract and keep the best scientific minds to focus on lung disease.
