My Best friend 🩵

It’s been 3 agonising years since my beautiful granda passed away unexpectedly. For the third time this year i will be participating in the GNR in honour of my granda John. This is for you granda everything i do is for you, each year that i participate for you granda it gets harder knowing you will never be there at the finish line waiting for me yet it’s so rewarding fundraising for a charity so close to our hearts which is all you’d ever want, you were so selfless and cared about everyone else. If you could have you would have rasied millions for charities! i know your cheeky face was beaming with pride every mile ❤️‍🩹 i hope i make you just as proud as the last two year and we raise just as much money for those battling with this awful disease on a daily basis, giving and helping others was what you loved to do as the selfless lovable, true gentleman you once were and forever will be 🩵

My granda has always suffered with having COPD and respiratory problems throughout his adult life and has suffered from having a collapsed lung on more than one occasion, this charity is close to mine and my families hearts as Asthma + Lung UK is the only UK charity that fights for everyone's right to breathe. Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with lung disease. I want to make a difference and if that means making a difference to just one person then i know that my grandad would be so proud appreciative as i watched my granda painfully struggle everyday with this awful frustrating and painful condition which limits people's ability to do basic everyday things and he didn't want anyone else to suffer the way that he did in his everyday life.

Me and my granda were two peas in a pod we were inseparable since the day i was born he was and still is my best friend i carry you literally everywhere with me granda! i've always been a grandads girl and now i've had to learn to live without him which will forever be the the hardest thing i'm having to deal with every second of the day, but i know he'll be by my side every mile like you were last year with your massive cheesy grin on your face, he'll always be running beside me now without having to worry about being short of breath 💔

All donations will be massively appreciated!! i know every little bit will mean so much to my granda and those having to live and suffer terribly day in day out with COPD and respiratory problems 🩵
