I’m running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in the fight for breath!

This October I will be taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon.

I will be running in memory of a truly great gentleman, Peter Mitchell, who passed away last year due to complications from COPD. I knew Peter for over thirty years, during which time he generously supported numerous charities. This has inspired me to raise money for a charity which will benefit some of the 1 in 5 people who, like Peter, will suffer from a lung condition in their lifetime. For this reason I've chosen to support Asthma & Lung Uk, who make support and advice available to 5.4 million people living with asthma in the UK.

Any money you are able to donate will help fund life-saving research and treatment for lung disease - the 3rd most common cause of death in this country. All donations will be gratefully received, not only honouring Peter's memory, but helping to support other people living with lung conditions, who with better research and earlier diagnosis might be offered the chance for a better quality of life.
