I’m walking to make a difference.
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. Every pound I raise takes us closer to a world where everyone breathes clean air with healthy lungs.
My Gran, Mary Macbeath was my best friend. Sadly, she passed away in October of last year. As her birthday of April 3rd approaches, I have decided to do a charity walk in her memory as I know that is something she would appreciate.
My Gran suffered for many years with COPD. Whilst COPD can be a cruel disease at times, there are thankfully many methods that can be used to support people with COPD to live long and happy lives.
I want to raise money to allow as many people as possible to receive these supports and to hopefully help towards finding more methods to help those suffering with COPD or other lung conditions.
I will be walking 10,000 steps a day from March 3rd until April 3rd (My Gran’s birthday) with a longer walk on the final day around the Castle Semple Loch at Lochwinnoch. I will be posting daily updates onto my feed here, so check back regularly.
