I’m running The Great North Run Half Marathon!
Hi and welcome. Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with lung disease. I'm participating in memory of my twin sister who passed away suddenly not that long ago & I would like to make a difference.
I'm running The Great North Run half marathon in the UK, in Newcastle on 13th September 2026 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity dedicated to finding ways to prevent lung disease. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us all one step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs. My target to raise is £350, and it would be amazing to raise this for such a worthy cause.
For example, just £24 could support a researcher at the start of their career to carry out an hour of lung health research to ensure the charity attracts and keeps the best scientific minds to focus on lung disease.
