I'm running the London Marathon!
I'm raising for Asthma + Lung UK.
Why? To help me get through the last few weeks of training - it's pretty dull and painful, so hopefully by raising a few quid, it will keep me motivated.
Plus, as a child I was diagnosed with asthma, and while it has rarely inhibited me, it has come back to bite in training resulting in new daily medication, perhaps for life. With that in mind, I couldn't think of a more appropriate charity to raise for. Please read on to learn a little more about why raising for them is so imporant.
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!
