I’m running the London Marathon in the fight for breath
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK's nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. I'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!

This is for you mom!
Thursday 6th Feb What have I got myself into?? Well….. let me tell you. My mom has been suffering with COPD for a while now and it’s not getting better. It won’t. For any of you who have known her, she was active, always out and about and was a nurse for 51 years helping others to get better or just care for them. This chronic disease has now taken hold and I want to put something back to help many others who are suffering with this. My mother in law also has this and it will not get better, only managed. I need you all now. I am sure you know people who have suffered or are suffering with similar conditions. I’m doing my bit by suffering for a day trying to complete the London Marathon. Yeah, my little legs and heavy frame shuffling round the course!!
Please can you help to support this amazing charity and give generously towards my own minuscule suffering compared to many others who have to endure COPD each and every day. I can’t express how much I appreciate all of you donating, no matter how big or small. I’m doing this for my mom and step mom and for everyone else who has seen someone suffer with this debilitating condition. Thank you so much each and everyone of you. Xxx
