We're cycling to make a difference.

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. Every pound I raise takes us closer to a world where everyone breathes clean air with healthy lungs.

Just £24 could support a researcher at the start of their career to carry out an hour of lung health research to ensure we attract and keep the best scientific minds to focus on lung disease.

Any donations you can give are hugely appreciated thank you for supporting us and everyone out there living with a lung condition.

The Nottingham Breathe Easy Groups are joining together to Cycle 1000 miles The groups will be using static bikes at Pulmonary Rehab at home or gym and chair bikes at home and  Nottingham West support group's Keith Buckley will be using his electric bike. Keith, one of our members who has COPD bought an electric bike a few years ago and it has enabled him to get out and about and travel surprising distances improving his mood and quality of life without getting out of breath.

This is part of a much bigger project  to raise awareness of using electric bikes if you have a lung condition. We have teamed with Asthma & lung UK, Raleigh, Nottingham Trent University to investigate further. Do you use an electric bike and have a lung condition?  let us know. We have a special Patient and Public involvement and Engagement Event booked for June 18th  interested? tburg69@sky.com for further details.

Thank you for getting involved or sponsoring
