I’m running the London Marathon 2027 to fight for lung health!
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2027 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Just £24 can support a researcher at the start of their career to carry out an hour of lung health research to ensure we attract and keep the best scientific minds to focus on lung disease.
Any support would be amazing in my fight for lung health!

Breathe Easy
Thursday 4th Jun I have chosen to run the London Marathon for this incredible charity for a few reasons.I have lost two very special ladies in my life to COPD, one being my wonderful Gran and one being my amazing Mum. I was devastated. I was there supporting my Mum through challenging times for many years. Watching someone with COPD struggle for breath is heartbreaking. Being attached to an oxygen cylinder, always having to have someone there to help. Eventually, becoming bed bound because moving had such an impact on breathing. With my Mums passing, I really struggled for a long time. I knew I needed to do something to help me out of the place I was in. So, I started running, running helped me through the dark times and gave me a focus. A focus to support others by running for charities.
In 2023 I was diagnosed with mild emphysema, which is a type of COPD. Luckily for me, it’s mild and I can do everything within my power to prevent any deterioration. Breathing easy, is a must! I want to do all that I can to help others who suffer with any form of lung problems. Your support and help will be immensely appreciated. Let’s fight this together.
