LDN Marathon 2027 – in memory of Kevin Goode 🕊️
I am running the London Marathon in memory of my dad.
In 2005, aged just 42 we lost my loving father to brittle asthma. Like many of us, my dad suffered from asthma all his life. You never expect it to take a life.
I feel honoured to carry on his legacy, “Goode by name, good by nature”, to raise as much money as possible for such an important cause.
Breathing is something we all take for granted every day, with some finding it easier than others, but we do not allow asthma to restrict us - yes you can still run marathons with asthma!🏅
1 in 5 people will develop a lung condition during their lifetime.
2 in 3 asthma deaths could have been prevented with better routine care.
To celebrate his life, his story, and his legacy, I’ll be thinking of him every kilometre.
