I’m running the London Marathon 2027 to fight for lung health!

As many of you are aware I have grown up with Asthma. Years of struggling with chest infections, asthmatic bronchitis, colds...the list goes on!

In January 2025 I suffered from my biggest Asthma attack to date. I was blue lighted to hospital and was admitted for 3 days. If I had left it much longer to ring 999 then the treatment would have been much worse! 

It is so scary having to struggle just to breath, worrying constantly in the winter that the chest infection could turn into so much worse. BUT I'm here to tell the tale. 

I will be on steroid inhalers FOR LIFE just to help prevent an Asthma attack. 

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2027 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Just £24 can support a researcher at the start of their career to carry out an hour of lung health research to ensure we attract and keep the best scientific minds to focus on lung disease.
