I’m running the London Marathon 2027 to fight for lung health and raise awareness of COPD!
I’m running this marathon in memory of my grandad, Alan (Pappy), who sadly lost his battle with COPD in 2018.
From the age of 11, I lived with my grandparents, and in the final years of Alan's life I witnessed first-hand how devastating COPD can be. The condition gradually took away his ability to do the things many of us take for granted, and watching that happen to someone so important to me had a lasting impact.
COPD affects millions of people, yet it remains a condition that many don't fully understand. Through this challenge, I want to help raise both awareness and funds so that more people can access support, more research can be carried out, and fewer families have to experience what ours did.
Every mile I run is for Alan. Every donation helps support the incredible work of Lung & Asthma UK.
