I’m running the London Marathon 2027 to fight for lung health!

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2027 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.

Just £24 can support a researcher at the start of their career to carry out an hour of lung health research to ensure we attract and keep the best scientific minds to focus on lung disease.

Every step for my Dad Glenn

My name is Daniel and In April 2027, I am taking on the ultimate challenge of the London Marathon running for Asthma + Lung Uk in memory of my amazing dad, Glenn, who we tragically lost in October the 12th 2024 after he passed away in his sleep due to asthma.

Anyone who knew my dad knows he was the absolute soul and energy of any room he entered. 

He was the most hard working man I ever knew..working most weeks 7 days which he was a painter and decorator, he absolutely loved his job and would always say he was the best painter in south east London.

He brought unmatched joy, laughter, and light to everyone around him. He was the life of the any party and light up any room he walked in, He filled every room with warmth, and an unmatched energy for life. 

Losing him so suddenly left a massive hole in all our lives
But we knew he would be with us every single day in anything we do or achieve in life.


I am lacing up my running shoes to honor his memory and to raise vital funds for Asthma + Lung UK. This incredible charity works tirelessly to fund life-saving research, support families, and campaign for better care so that other families don't have to experience the heartbreak of losing a loved one to lung conditions.


My goal is to raise £2,500 to support their life-saving work, and I need your help to get there. 

Please support me by making any donation you can—no matter how small, every little bit helps me get closer to my target and carries Glenn's joyful energy across the finish line which my dad will give me that courage and fight for the day of running 26.2miles.
