I’m running the London Marathon 2027 to fight for lung health!
I lost my Nan in September 2025 to respiratory issues caused by her COPD. I ran the London Marathon 2026 and she should have been there to see me cross the finish line. She very much felt like a part of that race right up until I crossed the finish line. We used my chosen charity on her order of service at her funeral (the final donation to push me over the target was from this), and I had a photo of us in a necklace while I was running. I wanted to make her a part of 2027 as well by running for a charity in her honour that supports people who are also struggling to breathe. I am so proud to be on Team Breathe for the London Marathon 2027!!!

Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2027 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Just £24 can support a researcher at the start of their career to carry out an hour of lung health research to ensure we attract and keep the best scientific minds to focus on lung disease.
Any support would be amazing in my fight for lung health!
