I’m running the London Marathon 2027 to fight for lung health!
Running the London Marathon has always been a dream of mine, but being able to do it for Asthma + Lung UK makes it even more meaningful.
Asthma has affected my family for generations. My grandmother sadly lost her life to asthma when she was only in her twenties. At the time, life-saving treatments and reliever inhalers that many of us take for granted today simply weren't available. She never had the chance to access the care that could have saved her life, leaving my dad and his siblings to grow up without their mum.
Today, asthma is still a huge part of my family's story. I, along with many of my cousins, live with asthma and rely on preventer and reliever inhalers every day to keep it under control. As someone who spends a lot of time running, I know just how important those medications are. It's frightening to think that, without the research, campaigning and support provided by Asthma + Lung UK and the incredible advances in asthma care, our lives could have looked very different.
Five years ago, I started running simply to lose weight. What began as a fitness goal has become so much more. Running has become part of who I am. It's how I challenge myself, clear my mind, protect my mental wellbeing and prove to myself that I can achieve things I never thought possible.
Crossing the start line of the London Marathon will be the biggest running achievement of my life. To do it while raising money for a charity that has had such a profound impact on my own life and my family's journey makes every mile even more special.
If you're able to donate, no matter how big or small, you'll be helping Asthma + Lung UK continue their vital research, support people living with lung conditions, and work towards a future where no family has to experience the loss that mine did.
Thank you so much for your support, it truly means the world.

Keep soaring we rooting for you❤️💕🌹💯
