I’m running the London Marathon 2027 for them.

So, in February 2024, I lost my beautiful, amazing, kind, fun loving, party animal, my best friend, the person I called  Mum, to a cruel lung disease. It took me months to come back into the world but when I did I promised I would do something to make her proud. I signed up for and got a place at the London marathon for 2026, but as many of you are aware I was due to give birth to my boy in April 2026. I was lucky enough to be given the option to defer to 2027, which I happily agreed. My son, Lucas was born, and then 2 weeks after he lost his amazing grandad, my step dad and my mums husband.

April 25th 2027, I will be running the London marathon in both of their honour.

I am doing this for them and to make them proud and to show my son, that regardless of the pain in life, you can always achieve and accomplish things you thought were out of your reach. Grief is horrific, and nothing in this world will bring them back, but I choose to live my life in their name. So please if you can, support me.
