I’m running the London Marathon 2027 to fight for lung health!

I'll be taking on the TCS London Marathon 2027 and running for Asthma + Lung UK.

This journey is incredibly personal. I'm running in memory of my amazing Mum and Dad, and every mile I cover will be for them.

I originally secured this charity place in memory of my Dad, who sadly passed away in 2014 from pulmonary fibrosis. Dad was a passionate triathlete, competing for Great Britian. My childhood is full of memories of watching him compete and competing in races myself across the country. He was never happier then when we were out running with him. It was often his birthday gift of choice when we were kids. So since he passed, I had wanted to run the London Marathon knowing he would be running it beside me just as he would have done if he was still here.

Sadly, on 19 August this year, we also lost my wonderful Mum after her brave battle with Parkinson's disease.

Before Mum passed away, she knew I had committed to the London Marathon. She knew how much training, determination and resilience it would take (especially since I am no longer much of a runner), and she was behind me every step of the way.

Losing Mum so recently has turned our world upside down, but it has also given me an even stronger reason to keep going.

While the money raised through this page will support Asthma + Lung UK and the fight against the disease that took my Dad, this marathon is about so much more for me. Every training run, every early morning start and every mile on race day will be dedicated to both of them.

I'll be carrying Dad's determination and fighting spirit, along with Mum's love, encouragement and belief in me, from the Bournemouth Half Marathon in October all the way to the finish line on The Mall next April.

My goal is to raise £2,500, and any support you can give, whether that's a donation or simply sharing my page, would mean so much to me and my family.

Thank you for helping me honour Mum and Dad's memory. Your support will help keep me moving forward when the training gets tough and the miles feel long.
