I’m running the London Marathon 2027 to fight for lung health!
Two of my children have asthma. We've been in and out of hospital more times than I can count, watching them struggle to breathe, sitting by hospital beds through the night, and learning to live with the worry that comes with a condition that can turn serious very quickly.
If you've never watched your child fight for breath, it's hard to explain what that does to you. Every cough, every cold, every change in the weather carries a little more weight for us.
Running the 2027 London marathon for Asthma + Lung UK is my way of turning that worry into something positive.
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Just £24 can support a researcher at the start of their career to carry out an hour of lung health research to ensure we attract and keep the best scientific minds to focus on lung disease.
