I’m running the London Marathon 2027 to fight for lung health!
Halfway through training for Manchester Marathon 2026, I began to struggle with fatigue and breathlessness after completing a training half-marathon. After multiple GP and hospital visits, it was discovered that I had come down with Viral Pneumonia, which resulted in my training being brought to an abrupt end, me missing the majority of my university lectures for the month and taking time off work. Whilst it has been almost 3 months and I’ve been cleared to run again, I’m still undergoing lung function tests and carrying around an inhaler ‘for just in case’. However I never fully appreciated before how difficult it is to live with these symptoms, which is why I wanted to run for Asthma and Lung UK. Thank you for reading, any donations are so appreciated 🩷🧡
Every minute, someone in the UK is diagnosed with a lung condition. I want to make a difference. I'm running the London Marathon 2027 for Asthma + Lung UK, the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Just £24 can support a researcher at the start of their career to carry out an hour of lung health research to ensure we attract and keep the best scientific minds to focus on lung disease.
Any support would be amazing in my fight for lung health!

You’ll smash it! Good luck! 🏃♀️
