🏃🏼‍♀️✨London Marathon 2027✨🏃🏼‍♀️

In April 2027, I’ll be taking on my biggest challenge yet, running the London Marathon for Asthma + Lung UK!

This will be my first ever marathon, and completing 26.2 miles will definitely push me outside of my comfort zone! There will be plenty of early mornings, long runs and sore legs along the way, but I couldn’t think of a better cause to support.

My mum has lived with asthma since childhood and spent much of her younger years in and out of hospital. As an adult, she still relies on inhalers and medication every day and also lives with bronchiectasis. Despite everything she has faced, she never stops, never gives up and continues to put everyone else first.

Watching her strength over the years has shown me just how much people living with respiratory conditions deal with every single day. I am incredibly proud of her, and I want to raise money to support the vital work Asthma + Lung UK does through research, support and campaigning for better respiratory care.

Just £24 can support a researcher at the start of their career to carry out an hour of lung health research to ensure we attract and keep the best scientific minds to focus on lung disease.

This marathon is not just a personal challenge for me, it’s a way of honouring my mum’s strength and raising awareness for everyone living with asthma and lung conditions 🫶🏼

Any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean so much to me and will help keep me going through the months of training ahead.
