I’m running the London Marathon 2027 to fight for lung health!

Running the London Marathon has always been a dream of mine, and I am incredibly proud to be running the 2027 TCS London Marathon in support of Asthma + Lung UK.

Lung health is something that affects millions of people every single day. Whether it’s asthma, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer, or another respiratory condition, so many individuals and families face challenges that can make something as simple as taking a breath feel difficult. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help Asthma + Lung UK continue their vital work by funding life-changing research, providing support to those living with lung conditions, and campaigning for cleaner air and better care.

As someone who loves sport and plays football, I know how easy it is to take our breathing and lung health for granted. Running 26.2 miles will be one of the biggest physical and mental challenges I’ve ever taken on, but it is nothing compared to the challenges that people living with lung conditions face every day.

Over the coming months, I’ll be dedicating countless hours to training, balancing marathon preparation alongside football, work, and everyday life. There will be early mornings, long runs, tired legs, and moments where I’ll have to dig deep—but knowing I’m doing it for such an important cause will keep me going all the way to the finish line.
