Every Step I Take Is for Someone Who Can't
I'm running the London Marathon for Asthma + Lung UK, and I'd love your support.
For me, this isn't just about completing 26.2 miles—it's about my dad.
When he was younger, he was a professional footballer. Fitness, sport, and being active were a huge part of his life. Today, because of COPD, even walking without assistance has become a challenge. Watching someone who was once so athletic lose that independence has been heart-breaking and has shown me just how devastating lung disease can be.
That's why I've chosen to run for Asthma + Lung UK. The charity funds vital research, provides support to people living with lung conditions, and works to improve the lives of millions affected by respiratory disease.
I'll be spending months training for one of the biggest challenges I've ever taken on, but that effort is nothing compared to the challenges faced every day by people living with lung disease.
If you're able to donate, no matter how big or small, you'll be helping an incredible cause that means a great deal to me and my family. If you can't donate, sharing this page would mean just as much.
Thank you for supporting me and, more importantly, for supporting everyone whose lives are affected by lung disease. Every mile I run will be with my dad—and countless others—in mind.
